ROLE OF THE MENTOR COACH:
- Provide team schedule to Mentee, welcome them to a minimum of 2 team events per month
- As the Mentee Coach gets comfortable, help increase their involvement such as helping them lead a drill at practice
- Share knowledge and answer questions
MENTOR COACH ELIGIBILITY:
- Anyone who self-identifies as female
- Minimum age of 18
- Must have coached for a minimum of three (3) years
- Must be in good standing with Softball Manitoba
- Must have a valid Respect in Sport Certificate (within the past 5 years)
- Must have a valid Criminal Record Check (within the past 5 years)
Certification required for A/AA coaches is Community Softball - Trained. Certification for AAA coaches is Competition Introduction - Certified. If you are not sure you have the correct Coach Certification, please contact the Softball Manitoba Office.
Applicants will be emailed with further information after May 3, 2024.
