MINOR DIVISION INFORMATION:
Individual team entries will be accepted from Softball Manitoba affiliated teams for 2026 Provincial Championships.
- Teams are eligible for Open Provincials in the categories for which they are registered.
- All teams including host teams entering Open Provincials must submit entry form and fees by: June 1st
- Any team withdrawing from the competition within 10 days of the scheduled event or failing to meet its commitments will be considered a no show and it will automatically default its entry fee and further action may be taken against the team as a unit or its individual participants.
- Requirement for all coaching staff (Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, Managers) attending an A Minor Provincial Championship:
- All coaching staff must have a valid Criminal Record Check and complete the Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders course to be eligible to participate in any of the Softball Manitoba Minor Provincial Championships. Clubs will be fined $50 for every Coach that does not have a valid RIS certification and they will not be allowed to coach until they are certified.
- Requirement for the Head Coach of a team attending an A/AA Minor Provincial Championship:
- Foundations of Coaching Softball: Part 1
- Ongoing Participation Community Softball: Trained
- NCCP Multi-Sport Module: Make Ethical Decisions eLearning module (Online module includes both training and evaluation)
Assistant Coaches and Managers do not require an NCCP Coach Certification.

- The maximum playing roster is 17 for all categories in Provincials.
- All teams must have a Team Representative at the Pre-Tournament meeting. Any team not represented will be subject to penalty.
- The type of draw(s) will depend on the number of entries in each category. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of two games, but Softball Manitoba will make every effort to develop a draw that will give teams more games.
- Draws will be posted as soon as possible after the entry deadline.
- If for any reason the Tournaments are not played or completed on the scheduled dates, teams must be prepared to play whenever games are scheduled.
- Entry froms must be accompanied by an e-transfer (sent to softball@softball.mb.ca) to cover the entry fee

- A Classification - $450/team
