TOBACATCH
Catching Program

FREE COACHES CLINIC
TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 2026

5:30 - 9:30PM

SPORT MANITOBA THEATER

Give your catchers the tools they need to succeed behind the plate with programs designed by former National Team catcher, Hailey Unger.

Tobacatch provides coaches with a clear, structured approach to developing strong, confident catchers. The program focuses on teaching and reinforcing essential fundamentals, including stance, shifting, receiving, framing, blocking, throwing mechanics, bunt coverage, and overall catcher responsibilities. TobaCatch is designed to help coaches build consistency and confidence in their athletes from the ground up.

Hailey will also be covering the Tobacatch Advanced section of the program, which equips coaches to take their catchers to the next level. Building on the foundational skills, coaches will discuss more complex techniques and game situations, including passed balls, plays at the plate, pop-ups, handling various pitch types, and calling a game. Coaches will also gain access to advanced, position-specific defensive drills to better prepare their athletes for game performance. Coach with confidence. Develop with purpose. Build leaders behind the plate.
