In order to participate in Softball Manitoba’s Community Softball Coach Clinic you MUST complete Softball Canada’s online training module listed below PRIOR TO THE CLINIC.
As well, you will need to take Making Ethical Decisions through Sport Manitoba (or another Province if they are offering a virtual clinic) and afterwards complete the Make Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation through The Locker. To register you need to sign into your Locker profile and go under CALENDAR at the top of the page. You can set the filters to whatever preference you want. Once you find a Make Ethical Decisions course that works for you, click on it to register. This course must be completed PRIOR TO THE CLINIC.
NOTE: You will need your NCCP number and your password to log in to The Locker. You should only ever have one NCCP number!! Use the “lookup my NCCP#” or “Forgot password” functions on the login page to retrieve this information. Once you are logged in to the Locker, your NCCP dashboard will appear. Select the e-Learning tab. Then use the pull-down menu to select “Softball” (the default is showing “Multi-Sport”) and under the “Available” menu on the left hand side, you will see all the Softball e-Learning modules available to complete.

It is up to each coach to schedule their own evaluation. Simply contact an evaluator (listed below), share your practice schedule, and schedule a date for them to come evaluate. If you have multiple coaches in your organization/on your team needing an evaluation, we suggest considering scheduling them all on the same day, that way you can ensure your organization is completed.
Please book your evaluations ASAP to account for rainout days, Evaluator availability, and time for your certification to be processed if you need it completed by Provincials.
Finally, bring your Coach Portfolio to your evaluation with the required pages completed (instructions are in the Coach Portfolio). You would have received this at the in-person portion of the Comp Intro Clinic (also known as Weekend #2).
