MPSL Seeking League Commissioner Position for 2022

The Board of the Manitoba Premier Softball League is seeking a person to fill the role of League Commissioner for the 2022 season.

Responsibilities will include:

Schedules, prepares and chairs all League business meetings.
Exercises the powers of the Executive in the case of an emergency
Prepares an annual operating budget for the League with the assistance of the Treasurer and is subject to Board approval.
Establishes and maintains a balanced season schedule.
Establishes and maintains the annual League tournament schedule.
Manages the League website including but not limited to; uploading and adjusting the league and annual tournament schedules and posting League information as required. Further discussion regarding the sourcing of the site will occur.
The role will report directly to the League’s Board of Directors which consists of the eight individuals representing each AAA organization in the province.

The position receives an honorarium of $2000.00 payable in two equal payments; on June 30, 2021 and September 30, 2021.
