National Coaches Week encourages Canadians to say thanks and to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities. This week is an
opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by simply saying #ThanksCoach.

The Coaching Association of Canada has created a Participation Guide, which includes National Coaches Week graphics you can personalize to your sport, templates and wording for your newsletter and social media, and more: https://coach.ca/national-coaches-week
Social Media Campaign
Sport Manitoba will be posting #ThanksCoach videos and messages to highlight and encourage athletes of all levels throughout Manitoba to thank their coaches on social media. Ask your members to say #ThanksCoach. Have them post a message and/or video on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook with the hashtag #ThanksCoach and tag @SportManitoba on Twitter and Instagram or @SportMB on Facebook.

SCOTT NAUJOKS MEMORIAL COACHING AWARD

This scholarship is open to all athletes to either apply for or nominate an individual they think would be suited for the application. The goal of this award is to support athletes who are continuously improving their skills and knowledge and willing to put in the hard work necessary to perform at the highest level. Coach & Official Assistance Grant
Sport Manitoba Coaching is now overseeing the Coach & Official Assistance Grants! This grant reduces barriers for individuals at the community level, so they can focus
on training, evaluation, and sport development. Coaches/officials or organization’s applying on behalf of these individuals (4 max) can apply HERE.
